Devoted exclusively to typography, this volume is virtually the only source in which to find a current record of the most exemplary typographic work produced worldwide. The winners of the Type Directors Club's 1998 competition were selected from thousands of entries of graphic design for books, magazines, logos, annual reports, video graphics, and more. The results of a separate contest for typeface design are included. Full data are provided for all entries. Adam Greiss, a creative director, and Carin Goldberg, a designer of book covers, have both received many professional awards and are both instructors at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
